Hi, I’m Daniel Romero, the owner of Elbow Grease Window Cleaning. This company didn’t start in a boardroom or with a fancy business plan. It started in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic, when I suddenly found myself out of work like millions of other Americans. Instead of waiting things out, I decided to bet on myself. I already knew how to clean windows, so I loaded up some basic equipment, printed a stack of door hangers, and got to work serving homeowners right here in Carlsbad with nothing but determination behind me.
For the entire first year, I didn’t even own a truck. Every time a neighbor booked a job, I’d grab my gear, call an Uber or Lyft to the customer’s house, knock out the work by hand, and ride back home when the windows were sparkling. Job after job, I kept showing up. After a full year of nonstop grinding, I’d saved enough to buy my first truck, and that was the moment everything changed.
Since then, Elbow Grease has grown from a one-man hustle into a trusted exterior cleaning company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Carlsbad and North County San Diego. Today, we have a full team of technicians and a dedicated office manager, but we still bring the same work ethic and customer-first mindset I had on day one.
