Yes, we bring a ladder inside and clean any windows requiring a ladder. Even if they are above stairs.
We use eco-friendly professional window washing soap that is safe for the windows and the window frames. Some window cleaners will use Dawn dish soap. This is not good because there is a dry agent in Dawn dish soap. Over time, that can dry out the rubber weather sealant and cause damage to double paned windows.
